LAHORE: Noted Indian poet Javed Akhtar and his film star wife Shabana Azmi walked over to the other side of border on from India through Wagah crossing on Friday.
The Indian couple will take part in a two-day International Faiz Mela being held in Lahore on Saturday and Sunday.
According to organizers, Shabana Azmi will attend the opening day session on Saturday while Javed Akhtar is scheduled to attend the festival on Sunday.
