The recent five-day long Indo-Pak International Trade Expo, IPEX-13 (March 7-11), was held for the first time in Jalandhar, with around 40 participants from Pakistan, This was the tenth trade fair organized by India’s Progress Harmony and Development (PHD) Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The exhibits ranged from Pakistani onyx marble, textiles, dry fruits from Kabul, Kashmiri carpets, Jaipur jewellery, home appliances, wellness and healthcare products, high-end leather bags and crockery, quilts, wrought iron furniture and artificial flowers. Pakistani exhibitors set up a special food court at the expo.
Khursheed Barlas, CEO, Pakistan World Trade and Expo Centre, has invited the PHD Chamber of Punjab to participate with Pakistani entrepreneurs in their exhibitions being held in Mauritius and UK.
