LONDON: British Foreign Secretary David Miliband, terming the “Aman Ki Asha” (desire for peace) a good initiative, has announced to fully support the cause.
In an exclusive chat with The News London today (Friday), Miliband said Aman Ki Asha is an important endeavor for the restoration of peace in the region.
The step, he said, will prove helpful in the solution of outstanding issues between Pakistan and India.
The British foreign secretary said Aman Ki Asha will promote the economic, educational and cultural exchanges between the two neighborly countries.
“I support Aman Ki Asha as it will bring the people of two countries closer besides resumption of talks,” said Miliband.
